Since then, the company has placed several hundred professionals in financial and accounting positions around the greater Denver area. Colorado Corporate Search, LLC would be listed as one of the top ten permanent placement firms in Colorado if we ever completed the forms necessary for inclusion in the Denver Business Journal rankings. Amy is the Strategic Career Development Instructor at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a regular speaker at the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Financial Executives International. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1993. Amy has introduced two couples that are now married. amy@coloradosearch.com Ginny Burkey joined Colorado Corporate Search in September, 2006, after spending seventeen years in various accounting and operational roles. After five years in public accounting (three years with Deloitte & Touche in Cleveland, Ohio), Ginny moved into industry accounting, serving as Controller and eventually acting CFO for a small startup - a smart card manufacturer. After four years of fending off vendors and managing limited cash flow, Ginny decided a larger company might present more stability and variety, and joined AT&T Broadband as an Accounting Manager in the corporate accounting group. Two years and three mergers later, Amy Duclos recruited Ginny to another small, web-based startup. Ginny spent the next five years in various accounting and operational roles at another startup, utilizing her finance, accounting and process improvement skills to help the company plan for and manage its grow and it was eventually sold. Ginny graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1989 with a degree in Accounting, and earned her MBA from University of Phoenix in 2002. She is an inactive CPA and member of the Colorado Society of CPAs.
